Apparent domestic dispute results in shooting
According to a preliminary investigation, a shooting occurred in Verano Place housing at UC Irvine on Sunday, Sept. 13, at approximately 7:15 p.m. as the result of a domestic dispute. The victim was taken to an area hospital, and the lone suspect was apprehended at the scene and is in police custody.
Irvine just gets more dangerous every year.....shootings, robberies, burned bodies....there goes the second safest city in the US

That's so weird....we're moving into Verano Place next month, and I can't imagine how scary it would be to hear a gunshot(because Irvine is so,well,safe).

Update:the woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.Sad.Her and the shooter had a four year old child together.
