Can't seem to post my new article for review. I get a 404 error when I try to submit. I'm not sure what I could have possibly done wrong other than it might be too long (2000+ words).

That's indeed long, article aren't meant to be that long. Try to shorten it, I'm quite sure it failed because of the size.

It's no longer than http://collegetimes.us/how-to-not-go-broke-in-college-100-tips-tools-and-tricks/ and that posted fine. There's not much I can shorten as you will see if it ever gets published.

Can you try to make a preview? Does it work? Instead of submitting the article, press 'preview'

Blah, I'm doing the backwards approach again, like in my thread starting problem. It will either work or tell me where it went wrong. The sad thing is that the format isn't right when I try to copy and paste portions so I have to retype all 2000+ words.

Put your story in Word and then there is a special button to paste, it worked fine when I used it.

I noticed that too, didn't help.

You might have some special code in your article that is not standard. Try pasting your article into Notepad first and then pasting again into the post editor, and relink/reimage your article as needed.

I'm like 99% sure it was a word limiting thing. I was pasting individual paragraphs into the post as plain text. When I got near the end, it started giving me the 404 error. I ended up removing 2 of my points (will probably add it into comments if my article gets published) and I merged one with another.

Try posting a small article. Also the size doesn't matter bcoz lots of small articles of mine got rejected too. :(

If you actually read my post, you would have found out the problem was resolved. Stop spamming posts...
Why would I try posting a small article? It wouldn't be my article...
I ended up making a dummy post and I slowly edited to see where it failed. Since all I did was remove plain text to fix it, it was most likely a word limiting problem (as mentioned).
As for your small articles, if you read the guidelines, you would see that articles must be a minimum of 300 words. That might be the reason why yours were rejected.

My articles were rejected not because of they are small. They all are well into the guidelines of 300 words or more.I just can't find out the reason why they aren't getting published.
