   They need to come up with some cool names like what we had in swimming class.

   Guppy-->Goldfish--->Penguin--->Shark or something asinine like that :)

   @Karamel: Good idea.

   How are our ranks measured? Clearly not by number of posts, since I'm a Jr. Member and only have 40 something. Unless I've completely fallen out of touch with internet-speak and "newbie" isn't the lowest rank for anything anymore.

   I think it's how long you've been on here, contribution to articles/forums etc.I don't think number of posts is indicative of your status, as you've pointed out

    You get new ranks by date, not by postcount I guess because I am still a newbie with 200 posts.

    When you click on 'profile' link - and then click on the link 'more options'. You will see the very last option is the avatar uploader. Hope you find it, if you have questions, ask me!
