While I'm holding off my suspicion that it was planned, I really do feel bad for Taylor Swift and Beyonce, who will inevitably be pulled into Kanye's mess by undiscerning viewers.
Beyonce did a classy thing letting Taylor make an acceptance speech during her slot,but I can't imagine Taylor,considering her young age,being insulted like that in front of an audience,and then being pitied by everyone.Embarrassing,I really feel for her.
Kanye is a self proclaimed legend who designs crap shoes and wears ridiculous sunglasses(or shades,or whatever the hell those impractical atrocities are).The only reason he hasn't fizzled out yet is because no one can look away from a train wreck, especially such a narcissitic one.

Why do all his fellow musicians keep agreeing to spur on his career and do recordings with him? Just cuz he pretends to be a big black rapper so everyone keeps playing his douche-y self-obsessed game? I think he hasn't fizzled out yet for exactly why you describe, Karamel! Haha. Plus, when he talks so much trash about Bush, and white people, etc. then Americans feel guilty and won't oppose him...
He tries so hard to be black. Like he only endorses black people for any given thing. And designs sunglasses that have already been for sale at the local Urban Outfitters for the past 3 years. He must have grown up in some white neighborhood or something to be trying so hard as he is...

Nice! I guess Obama learned his lesson - don't pretend to be best friends with every black celebrity in the US just because you are black... it will only make you look stupid. Unfortunately, Kanye still hasn't learned this lesson, mostly because... well... he IS that guy making everyone look stupid (but mostly just himself...)! Hehe.
