So I'm going to Israel on Wednesday for almost 3 weeks. This is the first time I'll be there knowing about the conflict it's stuck in.
Obviously I'll be taking pictures and writing about what I experience. But as you guys are (probably) not as obsessed about it as I am, I wanted to know... is there anything in Israel you've always wanted to see? Know about?
What parts will you be traveling to?I don't know [i]anything[/i]about Israel, but I would be interested in how they think about America and it's usually pro-Israel stance and the relations there.I guess any insight on the conflict would be helpful,especially from a college aged point of view.More relatable I guess.What does it feel like living in an area that is so inundated with vivid history?
As Karamel kinda hinted at, I think polling people would be an amazing and eye opening project there, esp. polling Arab Israelis about their views regarding just about anything inside and outside Israel.
I've also always been interested in photos of the wall that divides Israel and Palestine now, and I'm also interested in eastern Jerusalem and the history and controversy surrounding the Dome of the Rock.
