LOL? I never said it wasn't worth it? I even said it was just 25USD, so it didn't make any difference in price. You change my words over and over again. I won't make it that long this time. You're changing it the next time again, this way we can reach christmas without any answer.
Why was the hybrid SLI more successful thanks to Apple then any other brand? I told you many, many times: It's no big deal. If the other brands had the same Apple battery, then battery life time would be exactly the same. Apple has changed zero things to the original hybrid SLI technique.
@SSD
Any SSD you buy will give you a performance increase if you were running a harddisk before.
Hybrid SLI is a step in the right direction, but you are doing like that's thanks to apple. Apple did nothing, they execute nVidia plans, like so many companies do.
@1000/3000 notebook
They are the same, that's just the point! You can have ALL apple notebook hardware of a 2500USD costing 17" macbook into a machine of 1500USD. It's just the brand why people buy it.
@CPU
Intel did sold Pentium4 mobile CPUs ...
You're 100% wrong about they sell more because they-are-better-story. Intel sold better then AMD, when AMD was leading in performance AND price. Not much people know AMD and Intel had money to make commercials. I don't have to remember the European Commission that gave Intel a 1'000'000'000EUR charge because they gave money to vendors who used Intel CPU instead of AMD... I guess that's because they didn't played fair.
Of course people bought it, but without knowing a thing about Intel. They never knew better, it was the only brand they knew. Why does coca cola sells more then any other drink brand, because it's famous, not because it's the absolutly best in the world.
It's amazing, intel has def. NOT good upgrade programs. How many sockets are there? 775? LGA 1155, 1156 and 1567? How many has AMD? Yes that's right, almost everything run on the same, so upgrading is 100 times easier then an intel CPU, where you can go from 2.8 to 3.2ghz with the same socket...
@netbook
If it's less then 10" it's a notebook, I gave you the example, I put diamonds on it and it's STILL a netbook. It can cost millions if you want to. It's not because with the diamonds it's not a netbook anymore...
Since when is wikipedia the best source to rely on?
Don't go silly, if the word is netbook, apple is entering the netbook market, you said it wouldn't. That's the point, not the right terms/words.
@performance
It was all the time about it, I quote your message:
"As for Alienware, I still think you are clouded by the disillusion that Alienware offers the highest performance possible. "
You see? Performance, no batterly life, no hybrid SLI, no price tag, nothing more or less then performance ALONE.
