I just remembered a book I really liked.
1984 by George Orwell
I think this book had a very unique idea, and its always server as an example of how we don't want to end up. I think the book had a great plot line, and great story development.

What did you read when you were young? At the age of 12 to 15 for example.
I read Harry Potter, but that's about it!! I still like the movies, because I read the stories in my youth. :DPosted 2 years ago # -
@Vanquished: After years of saying I would, I'm finally reading that right now!
I'm a little more than halfway through. It's hard to believe this was written in 1947. George Orwell is a mad genius. The depth of the sociological, political, worldly, and psychological factors he takes into consideration is nothing short of astounding.

@Devenox: Redwall. I read so much Redwall it's disgusting. Also the Merlin series, the Narnia series, and a smattering of other books.
One I remembered really liking was called The Iron Ring. Had something to do with an Arabian themed setting. Can't remember the plot exactly, just that I really liked it. You know?

Middle school age?
I'll second Redwall and raise you Circle of Magic,Harry Potter, and books like The Jungle by Upton Sinclair. What an amazing profile of a certain period in our nation's history, and especially through those of an immigrant.

@Tinct: REDWALL! God I loved those books, may go reread them actually.
Harry Potter obviously, read those so many times. A smattering of trilogies all over my room, can't remember most of them to be honest. Dan Brown's books were pretty good, He has a new one coming out doesn't he?
*Edit: I can't believe I forgot Artemis Fowl!

Oh my gawsh, I loved Artemis Fowl!!!!
And you're right, I love Dan Brown's book called Digital Fortress or something of that nature. That was always my favorite. The DaVinci Code was always overhyped and he's not that great of a writer.

The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons by Dan Brown...I just love how he interconnected the factual and fictional ideas. Love it! So intriguing in the eyes and impressions of many.
