How do you exercise?
Dance Dance Revolution and playing the Wii does not count. Sorry.

I'll always stay slender, no matter what I eat I don't put any weight. I use mostly my bike to go shopping in a radius of three km. I eat three meals a day, with one snack a day. I try to eat healthy because of college. Junk food and studying don't go together.
If playing the Wii DID count, I suppose I would be incredibly fit. Other than that, would like to keep fit, but find it really hard to keep it going. I suppose you could say I am on the pudgy side.
I tend to stay in shape, though I don't stay thin.
I'm not the type of person thats meant to be thin, I'm meant to be the big strong type of person, its just my build.
I'm too thin to say but i do try always to stay in shape.
I'm about 1m83 big and I'm around 72kg.
Yeah I stay in shape. I run and play sports, plus I've invested in some resistance bands and dumbbells, which I use to workout in my room. I cook my own food, too, so that helps curbing any weight gain/health issues from eating junk. It's tough, though, what with classes, homework, and such... but I make it work. :)
Keeping yourself motivated to exercise and eat less-tasty food can be a chore.
As someone who wants to gain muscle, I try to maximize the amount of protein I consume per day (ideal is 1g per 1 lb. of body weight, but that's hard to accomplish). I also minimize the amount of fat and calories (low-fat foods), and shoot for lots of fiber (helps a lot in burning calories).
For exercise, I spend an hour at the gym for resistance training with weights (muscle build), and then a half-hour doing High Intensity Training cardio (fat burn).
Let me tell you, exercise got a lot easier ever since I replace my normal cardio routine with HIT. Where I would usually spend an hour and only get in 6 or less miles on the track or in the pool, using HIT lets me belt out 5 miles in 30 minutes.
The structure:
1) 4-6 minutes warm-up (4-5 out of 10)
2) 1 minute intense (10 out of 10)
3) 2 minutes moderate (7-8 out of 10)
Repeat steps 2 & 3 three times, then gradually move your way up to six times over the weeks.
4) 4-6 minute cool down (4-5 out of 10)
This exercise helps to get your heartrate going and kickstarts your metabolism. So for the next 24 hours after you hop off the treadmill, your metabolism will shred anything you eat to bits.
I am currently about to embark on the Body for Life:Women's Edition tomorrow, and my plan will be an hour of cardio followed by alternated days of weight workouts, and five to six small meals a day.
I am not healthy or slender at the moment, having gained around 30 pounds my first year in college.I usually just utilize the gym at my apartment complex.
School is bound to start soon and during the hols I slacked big time, so before we start again I, hereby solemnly promise to start swimming and getting my butt off the chair.

It's like an academic New Year's.Today is September 1st and I hereby solemnly promise to drop this weight by Thanksgiving!

Just make sure you don't gain it all back again on Thanksgiving day, lol. ;)
Ha... To answer the original question: "no". I really should though. I wouldn't say I'm overweight, but I could definitely be in better shape. I'm starting a schedule where I start hitting the gym every once in a while though!
Bogdan #2 also doesn't stay in shape. Must be a Romanian thing ey? I really should try to get back in shape tho...i used to bike 80 miles/day and now I can't even do 20 :(
Vorbesti romaneste?
Started the Body for Life:Women lifestyle plan last week, so hopefully that will get me back into shape!
Starting school last year,I assumed so many bad habits and didn't curb my stress eating, but I know better now:D
I just had a banana eating contest with a buddy.....that was painful....and that means I don't stay in shape :(
try to get to the gym at 4-5 days a week. Mostly on weekdays cuz the weekends for partying! Might pick up Road cycling too...
I go to dance classes three times a wek and don't eat sweets and bread, that's help me to be in shape
What type of dance classes do you take?
I've been looking into some at the university recreation center, but I have two left feet so am a bit unsure of which one I should take.
i go for morning/evening walks everyday for about 1/2 an hour and then do brisk walking/jogging for another 1/2 hour ( i normally try to do it !! But end up missing every alternate days of workouts !! lol)
No matter what I eat I don't put any weight... I am thin and this is a big problem for me... :(
It's hard to lose weight and stay in shape in college.
Junk food and late nights. But those long walks around the
campus from class to class can help.

Ever since i entered college myself i found it really hard to come up with money to even feed myself. Believe it or not this is how i have recently dropped around 40 lbs. I use to weigh an outrageous 242, now i am at 202. I try and eat the fruit and yogurt parfaits and apples from work... (McDonalds) which keeps me going.
