Don't know about anyone else, but for me, the current access scheme seems a bit clumsy...
If I'm logged in and go to collegetimes.us, there is no direct link to my profile / articles. I have to click LOGIN and re-enter my info, despite clicking "remember me" (which I assume means, contrary to common sense, remember my screenname ONLY when coming to the login page, rather than "keep me logged in and give me no-hassle access to my stuff for this session").
It would be nice if there was a direct link to my profile from the main page, and if I'm logged in it wouldn't ask me to re-enter my info just to take me to my profile.
Once in the profile, I click on posts. You'd think it would show me MY posts. But, no, it shows me EVERYONE'S posts. I have to track down my individual posts individually and select the one I want to edit or view (it would be nice if one had the option to click 'edit' on an article one had written directly from the browsed-to article, in addition to going through the My Account page).
There's not even a filter to "show only MY posts" (which should probably be the default, by the way). Why do I need to see everyone else's posts in MY account page? Unless I put a watch on them for some reason? When I go to MY Account, it's usually to see MY stuff. If I wanted to view others' stuff I'd just browse or search for it via the usual main page interface.
Similar argument for comments. When I click on it in My Account it seems to show EVERYONE'S comments and not just my own or any I've "watched" (not sure there's any functionality for that) or "rated."
One might also ask whether one user should have access to another user's avatar(s)... IE, my avatar is a picture of ME. Should someone else be able to use a picture of ME as THEIR AVATAR? That seems a bit bothersome. Don't know if there's a good way to privatize such thing? Perhaps some check box would work ("This avatar is public; OTHERS CAN USE THIS AVATAR" & "This avatar is private; ONLY YOU CAN USE THIS AVATAR")?
So, yeah, a few interface improvements could probably be made.
