Tue, 25 Aug 2009 11:16:15 +0000Anonymous471@http://forum.collegetimes.us/
I don't write any new because my others are still pending. If they wouldn't be accepted, then I had to modify it and leave my (current) new article. I would be working for nothing. That's why I wait and don't have that much articles, though I still wrote some in a short deadline.

Tue, 25 Aug 2009 04:55:44 +0000Anonymous378@http://forum.collegetimes.us/
Thanks for the update!

Will all of the articles we have submitted be considered before tomorrow's deadline? I have four pending, and while I am interested in writing more and making necessary revisions to my current ones submitted, I don't want to lose out because mine weren't looked at.

And I will make some adjustments and then write a separate post if I have some questions on improving my articles.
Thanks again!!!

Mon, 24 Aug 2009 23:29:27 +0000Anonymous340@http://forum.collegetimes.us/
Thanks for the relieving post. I believe many people will be glad you post some updates (including me).

One question: isn't it possible to just add rejected after the title, instead of pending a few days. The article will be delayed another few days and then it have to be rewritten again. Maybe a rejected article is a disappointment, but then I know it at least.

By the way: is my movie review article still pending or rejected?

Mon, 24 Aug 2009 23:16:05 +0000Anonymous338@http://forum.collegetimes.us/
A few of you asked us how you know if your post is received or not - well just wanted to let you all know that we are having no problems receiving posts and carefully review all of them.

We do choose to not publish some posts that aren't particularly unique or helpful, contain content that is "old news" or perhaps are super short or poorly edited.

We hate to have to make that type of choice but we are trying to set high standards for our blog which has helped us grow steadily, and we need to maintain some standards to keep growing our reputation.

If you posts remains in "pending" status for more than a few days, its likely for one of the above reasons. Feel free at any time to make some changes by adding more content, more insight, or more unique commentary regarding your subject matter and our system will notify us to review it again.

If you have specific questions about a certain post please ask us in this user forum under the "feedback" board and we will offer you some tips to improve your article.

We are researching an option to allow users to post ALL their desired articles in the future but simply restrict the frontpage to the best quality articles... we will let you guys know how that goes!

Thank you much for your hard work, and I'm sorry for any feelings of disappointment this process might cause - our ultimate goal is to have high expectations and encourage critical thinking and personal improvement!

JJ and CollegeTimes Team =)
