But there are tons of regional small business and startups that often have better internship opportunities than corps.

Experiences?
Anonymous on "Travel Jobs" http://forum.collegetimes.us/topic/travel-jobs#post-1513 Wed, 07 Jul 2010 21:42:03 +0000 Anonymous 1513@http://forum.collegetimes.us/
Hi,

I work for NatGeo and I travel a lot because of that. Wondering if anyone are in a job that requires them to travel very frequently.

How do you deal with jet lag? Been months on this job and still I stuggle. Mess up my system and it is just too much for me sometimes.

Another question: how do you maintain a decent social life with the kind of hectic travel schedule. I realize I pretty much lost touch with the people in my life and the only way to connect with people (other than the folks you work with) is on Facebook and other forums/ web portals.
Anonymous on "Internships 2009?" http://forum.collegetimes.us/topic/internships-2009#post-44 Sat, 22 Aug 2009 10:03:36 +0000 Anonymous 44@http://forum.collegetimes.us/
The job market has been pretty terrible, so I was wondering getting an internship was just as challenging this year. I was lucky enough to find a position working for priceline.com but I'd love here about other places people interned at this past summer!
